Technology is basically a big part in everyone's day. From getting clean filtered water from the refrigerator, to taking a preseason concussion test to make sure we were not injured and able to play Football (American). Sometimes technology is usually thought of as wants and not important to people. Some examples are, X-box, satellite T.V. etc. It is more useful to people than you might actually think. We use it for transportation, businesses use it and most of all, communication.

Technology is what we use on an everyday basis, maybe without even knowing we are using it. We use technology for communication, working, entertainment, ect. I wouldn't even be able to do this work without the technology in this computer. If we didn't have technology normal everyday life would be possible, but very different. Technology is a very important part of everyday life.
I agree evan And you are totally right. some examples of things we couldn't have without technology would be computers, T.V., we couldn't do all the things we do in school to help us learn, we couldn't process food to eat or have clean drinking water so that is why technology is very important in daily life.
At BGA we use technology a lot for school and to keep in touch. I think technology varies based on a society. In a school with poverty they might not need technology as mush as we do; or at home they might not need to keep in touch with others or parents. However in big cities people might need more technology to advance in learning around there own environment or so they could call someone if they need help or are lost in a city.
That is how I think technology varies in different societies.
